Marbled mousse with chocolate and peanut butter
- 140g dark dessert chocolate
- 6 egg whites
- 150g Bonne Maman peanut butter
Steps
- First, melt 140 g of chocolate in a large bowl in a double boiler.
- In the meantime, separate the egg yolks from the egg whites and beat the egg whites until stiff.
- Add half of the beaten egg whites to the melted chocolate and mix gently until the mixture is smooth.
- Melt the Bonne Maman peanut butter in the microwave for one minute. Heat for about 30 seconds to make it a little more liquid. Then add it to the other half of the remaining egg whites and mix well.
- Pour a thin layer of chocolate mousse into glasses, then a thin layer of peanut mousse, which you have prepared with the mixture of beaten egg whites and Bonne Maman peanut spread. Sprinkle with peanut pieces and repeat the process to create two layers.
- Add a chocolate mousse dollop in the center on top, then use a knife blade to create swirls and sprinkle with a few chopped peanuts. Then, place your recipe in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before enjoying it chilled.
