- 125 ml pomegranate juice with no added sugar
- 30 ml water
- 1 heaped tablespoon of Bonne Maman orange jam
- Star anise For one 27 cl cocktail glass

- 60 ml water
- 4 to 5 ice cubes
- 6 teaspoons of syrup For decoration
- White sugar
- Cinnamon stick
- Star anise

Steps
- Bring the maple syrup, pomegranate juice, and water to a boil in a saucepan. Add the Bonne Maman orange jam and stir. Add the star anise and allow the mixture to thicken until it has a syrupy consistency. Allow the mixture to cool.
-
Squeeze an orange and a lemon and pour the fresh juice through a sieve to remove all the pulp.

-
Mix 30 ml lemon juice, 30 ml orange juice, 150 ml pomegranate juice, 60 ml water, and 6 teaspoons syrup in a shaker or other container.

-
Rub a citrus fruit around the rim of the glass before dipping it in the white sugar.

-
Put at least 4 ice cubes in the glass and pour in the cocktail.

- Garnish your cocktail with a slice of orange, a cinnamon stick, and star anise.
Tips:
- If the syrup thickens too quickly, add a little water.
- Ice cubes play a key role. They add freshness, but also subtly dilute the deliberately concentrated cocktail and bring out its full flavor.
- White sugar on the rim of the glass adds a decorative touch to your cocktail, but also a very sweet taste with every sip.
