Start by making a homemade shortcrust pastry. Mix the flour and 1 tablespoon of sugar, then add the butter in small pieces until you get a sandy texture resembling a crumble. Next, gradually add 4 tablespoons of cold water until the dough forms a compact, smooth ball. Knead the dough, place it between two sheets of baking paper, and leave it to rest in the fridge for a few hours.
Roll out your dough and place it in a pie dish. Bake for 20 minutes at 350°F.
Meanwhile, make a syrup by bringing 150 g sugar, 100 ml water, and the lemon juice to a boil. Allow the syrup to cool, then add the apple slices and leave to soak for 15 minutes.
Drain the apple slices to form pretty roses.
Then assemble your tart by spreading Bonne Maman strawberry jam inside, then arrange your roses on top.
Bake again at 160°C for 15 minutes.
Add a little powdered sugar and enjoy!
