Financiers hearts with strawberry jam
- 95g softened butter
- 100g powdered sugar
- 35g wheat flour
- 55g ground almonds
- 2 egg whites
- Bonne Maman Strawberry Jam
- pistachio slivers
Steps
- First, prepare some hazelnut butter: melt the butter in a pan until it turns a hazelnut brown color and develops a nutty aroma. Then leave it to cool.
- Mix the powdered sugar, almond powder, flour, and egg whites in a bowl. Add the melted butter and mix everything well.
- Pour the batter into heart-shaped molds, filling them about halfway. Then bake for 15 minutes in an oven preheated to 375°F.
- Once the financiers are baked and cooled, use a knife to make a hole in the top and generously fill them with Bonne Maman strawberry jam. Add a few pistachio slivers.
