chocolate biscuits
- 150 g of flour
- 75 g of granulated sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 75 g of butter at room temperature
- 1 egg
- A generously filled jar of Bonne Maman Hazelnut & Cocoa spread
- 1 mixing bowl
- 1 rolling pin
- 1 spatula
- 1 round cookie cutter
- 1 baking tray + parchment paper
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add the butter in small pieces. Rub the dough with your fingertips until sandy.
- Add the egg and mix with a spatula until you get a smooth dough.
- Form a ball, then roll out the dough to 2–3 mm thickness.
- Cut out biscuits with the round cutter.
- Place on a baking tray and bake for 10 minutes at 200°C. Let cool.
- Generously spread half of the biscuits with Bonne Maman Hazelnut & Cocoa spread.
- Close with another biscuit to create a sandwich.
- Press gently so the spread slightly shows on the edges.
