Steps
-
Open the Bonne Maman jars and paint them white. Pierce the center of each Bonne Maman lid.
-
Cut a 20 cm piece of cord and tie a knot before threading a wooden bead, then tie another knot. Thread another bead (in a different size) and tie another knot. Make one more knot and then form a loop for hanging.
-
Insert the cord through the hole in the Bonne Maman lid and secure it with hot glue.
-
Bell 1: Cut a strip of gold paper (1 cm) and a strip of glitter paper (6 mm) and glue them together around the jar’s screw thread. Paint some wooden beads white to alternate colors. Create a small chain by threading three beads onto a cord. Make three bells and tie them together. Glue the knot to the bottom of the jar.
-
Bell 2: Thread 20 small wooden beads onto a cord, alternating one bead with three white beads, and tie this like a chain to the top of the Bonne Maman jar. Then cut strips of glitter and gold paper and glue them to the ends of the cord (10 cm). Thread a white bead through the gold paper. Tie a knot to bring the four pendants together and glue them to the bottom of the jar.
-
Bell 3: As with Bell 2, create a chain of small beads at the bottom of the Bonne Maman jar. Tie it around the screw thread. Then make a pompom from golden lurex yarn and tie it to a cord, which you then glue inside the jar. Finally, stick shiny stars on the outside of the Bonne Maman jar.
