Bouquet of Sweet Words
- 1 empty Bonne Maman jam jar
- 2–3 sheets of colored paper
- 1 pencil
- 1 pair of scissors
- Plants
- Adhesive tape (optional)
- 2–3 toothpicks (optional)
Steps
- Make a small bouquet of plants and place it in an empty Bonne Maman jam jar with a little water.
- Using a bowl or another round object, draw a circle as a guide on your sheet of paper with a gray pencil. This is optional, but as a freehand guide, you can also draw three additional circles of different sizes inside it.
- From the center to the outer edge of the circle, draw small spiral-shaped bridges to illustrate the petals—wider in the middle and narrower toward the end.
- Cut out the sheet along your pencil line using your scissors. Erase your markings, then write your sweet words or a poem for your mother by following the paper spiral.
- Tightly roll the paper onto itself starting from the end (optionally secure it with tape or on a toothpick) toward the center. Loosen the roll slightly— the paper will naturally take the shape of a flower.
- Repeat these steps to create different flowers with rings of varying sizes to change the proportions. Then place them in your bouquet. Your bouquet of sweet words is ready!
