Steps
-
On cardboard, draw 3 circles with diameters of 21 cm, 19 cm, and 13 cm. Then, in the center of the first two discs, draw circles with a diameter of 7 cm, and on each disc draw a triangle (like a slice of cake). Cut them out with a cutter.
-
Glue each previously cut cardboard piece with hot glue. You will have 1 cone and 2 truncated cones. Draw, cut, and glue 2 discs of 7 cm in diameter, which you will then attach to the top of the two truncated cones.
-
Turn the 3 cones upside down and glue 3 discs of 16 cm, 15 cm, and 9 cm to the underside.
-
Decorate each tier by gluing fresh fir branches onto the cardboard cones. Make sure to create a sunburst effect when gluing to mimic the look of a real Christmas tree.
-
Place the battery packs of the mini LED garlands inside the Bonne Maman lids. Secure them with kraft tape, cut into a round shape to fit the lids.
-
Use hot glue to attach 3 Bonne Maman jars under the first tier of the tree. Glue 1 jar under the second tier and another under the top of the tree.
-
Stack the tree tiers on top of each other and decorate with small ornaments in your chosen Christmas colors! You’ll just need to unscrew the lids to turn the lights on or off for your centerpiece.
