- 1 Leisi biscuit dough
- Intense Jam
- 1 egg
- Tartlet - Moulds
- Heart-shaped cookie cutters
- A fork and a spoon
- A pastry brush
Steps
Today, I’ve made a special dish for my mum, whom I love very much.
- I cut small circles out of the pastry and placed them in the tartlet tins.
- I pricked small holes in the base with a fork so that it wouldn’t rise too much in the oven.
- Then I (with an adult) beat the egg and brushed the batter with it.
- We baked the tartlets at 200°C for 20 minutes.
- I cut out little hearts from the remaining dough. I brushed these with egg too and baked them for about 10 minutes.
- Once everything had cooled down, I put a spoonful of jam into each tartlet. I placed a little heart in the middle – because you’re always in my heart, Mum. Finally, I sprinkled a little icing sugar on top – because I just love sweet things.
