Bonne Maman Jam-Filled Teddy Bear Cookies

  • 175 g flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 125 g butter (cold)
  • 3 tablespoons cold water

Steps

  1. Mix the sugar, salt, and flour.
  2. Add the butter cut into cubes and mix with your hands until you get a crumbly texture.
  3. Add the cold water and form a dough ball.
  4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  5. Then roll out the shortcrust pastry and cut out 6 bear shapes with a cookie cutter. Cut a small heart in the center of 3 of them.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes at 170°C.
  7. Let cool after removing from the oven.
  8. Spread jam on the whole bear, then place the bear with the heart cutout on top.
